Osteoporosis Class Series

The best time to strengthen your bones is before a break.

Regrowing bone is totally doable. To successfully build strong bones and joints you must do three things:

  1. You must provide your body with the proper nutrients.
  2. You must offer some type of resistance challenge your body (ie weightlifting).
  3. You must challenge your bones directly, to stimulate them to grow bigger. To become stronger and more elastic. You must encourage your joints to produce more fluid and have greater integrity. Basically, you must rebuild your bones and joints back to something that more closely resembles the bones and joints you had in your twenties and early thirties.

In this course we will briefly cover points 1 and 2 (the nutritional aspect, resistance training). While these first two points are important, we do not focus here because there is an abundance of good information readily available from many different sources. We will spend most of the time learning and practicing forms, movements and meditations which fulfill point 3 - Strong, healthy bones and joints. Our information here is unqiue, effective, and not readily available to the general public. The methods we use are mostly Taoist in origin. They time tested and proven. They have produced excellent results for 100s and 100s of years.

The forms you will learn in this course are similar to those developed by masters who needed to be very strong in order to defend their temples and monasteries from bandits. Being second best was simply not an option for them. Needless to say, most of these forms have been tested and applied in real life for over a 1000 years.

Some of the areas addressed in this series include: the hips, lumbars and wrists (the three most often broken bones in the body). And of course you'll also learn how to strenghen your cervicals (neck), thorasics (mid back), and sacrum.... plus shoulders, knees, hands, and feet. The bones in general are also covered.

The course is divided up into four separate sections:

  1. Hips
  2. Spine
  3. Shoulders
  4. Knees and balance

In the first section we will focus on Hips. You will learn very effective, yet simple forms for increasing circulation as well as strengthening your bones and joints. This section will be taught in five classes. Class will meet once a week, for five weeks. We will spend ample time reviewing and practicing these forms.

The forms in this course are designed for the general public. Our outcome is optimum health... Bones and joints that enable you to keep doing all the fun things you like to do... for your entire life.
