Since I began teaching back around 1998, I have been doing demos and intros for people so they could get a feel for what happens in our practice.

People seem to prefer a more personal approach now, so I mostly chat with folks over the phone when they indicate they want more info. Also I recommend coming to a class to observe. Observing is a great way to get a feel for what is actually happening. Also a great opportunity to speak with current students and find out first hand what they think of the practice.
