Daily Qi Gong - Strong Healthy Spine for Life

 

Our Spine is in some ways like the master control panel that almost every essential body function runs through. The healthier and stronger your spine, the healthier and stronger your whole body can be.

The primary focus in this Class Series is on soaking the Spine with a specific type of Qi that helps the Spine to not only strengthen, but to regenerate and rejuvenate any problem areas that already exist. It is especially helpful for those with known issues. We will be doing the Soak the Spine in Qi Meditation in all four classes. Other forms and meditations learned in this series will also help to support/create optimum Spinal function. 

In addition to strengthening the Spine, the general focus of the classes will be on helping students to learn a well rounded set of tools which can be used to help build more Qi, quiet the minds, and heal the body. We will strengthen and we will detox. Both will be accomplished through the use of gentle yin style movements and meditations. 

This Class Series is specifically designed for those who are looking for an effective daily energy practice that can be easily integrated into one's life without disrupting schedules or ‘normal life’ commitments. It’s a very good fit for both beginners, as well as experienced Qi Gong and Tai Chi students.

Upon completing this Class Series beginner students will be well prepared to enter our more formal training, should they wish to dive deeper. The more formal training is called Temple Style practice. Those who do not wish to enter Temple Style can use the techniques learned in this Series as an ongoing life long practice for creating and maintaining optimum spinal health. 

After completing the Spine Strengthening Series other upcoming Class Series will include:

  • Daily Qi Gong for Artery Cleansing
  • Daily Qi Gong for Better Digestion. 

 

Overview

The Series is taught over two (2) weeks, with two (2) in-person classes on Saturday, plus four (2) online (Zoom) review classes on Wednesday. There are a total of four (4) classes for students to attend. Cost of the course is $85. The Class Series is limited to 20 students.

Meditations

  • Activation of Lower Dantien (primary energy center in the body)
  • Longevity Meditation (the cornerstone meditation of our system)
  • Cell Meditation (strengthens vitality and cellular communication)
  • Endocrine Meditation (balance endocrine system/reduce stress)
  • Soak the Spine in Qi Meditation (soak all parts of the spine with Qi)
  • Life Model (create a specific vision for your Qi)
  • Saving your energy (retrieve your Qi/energy at the close of practice)

Forms

  • Whole Body Energy Activation - Tapping (increase circulation, strengthen veins and capillaries, clear blockages and stagnations, build more energy)
  • Shaking (lymph activation, stress reduction, energy circulation)
  • Bag Toss (individual and group - activates Qi in the hands)
  • Variety of other forms which will improve circulation and expedite the elimination of toxins throughout the spine
  • Lymph Movements (activate lymph flow in specific parts of the body)
